The Brooke Trace Gallery Hosts Broward Art Guild Opening of Landscapes and Still Life Exhibit
(PRWEB) September 11, 2007 -- The Brooke Trace Gallery Hosts Broward Art Guild Opening of Landscapes and Still Life Exhibit, Friday, September 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. at 1098 NE 45th Street, Oakland Park,FL 33334. This is the Kick off for Brooke Trace Gallery and Broward Art Guild's Fall Exhibit Openings. Enjoy fine art and live entertainment while supporting the local arts.
The BAG, Broward Art Guild, Landscapes and Still Life juried competition and Exhibit will run from September 14 thru October 6. These fabulous original works of art will include photography, sculpture, watercolors, and works in mixed media. The Brooke Trace Gallery will Showcase a special exhibit of Modern Masters, Salvador Dali, Picasso, Erte and Peter Max.
JB McKay a very talented 12 String Acoustic Guitar player will entertain us with talents. Georgi's Alibi will cater by providing a variety of tasty gourmet delights and refreshments will be served. There will be a requested $5 donation at the door to benefit The Broward Art Guild.
Raffle tickets will be available for the door prizes. There will be a wonderful selection of items available for bidding. The silent auction will host a variety of items donated by local businesses in Fort Lauderdale, Oakland Park and Wilton Manors Chamber.
The Broward Art Guild, now in its 56th year, is the largest non-profit organization of working artists and supporters in Broward County, Florida. The Broward Art Guild offers the community a variety of art classes and workshops for both adults and children alike, gallery exhibitions and professionally juried competitions, collaborates in community "artreach" programs and works to promote visual arts and artists in the South Florida area.
